Objective of SFSS Odisha
One of the main objective to starting State Food Security Scheme is to provide Nutritional food to the poor people of the Odisha State. Friends this type of scheme already running by a central government but addition to that Odisha State Government also run their own Scheme.

Friends, CM Naveen Patnaik announced on 3rd January 2023, State Food Security Scheme extended up to December, 2023. It means all the beneficiaries of the SFSS scheme will get 5 kg rice at 5 rupees per month up to December 2023. Friends recently state government extend the distribution of rice to 9.05 lakh people in October 2022. This scheme really helpful for the poor people in the state and agenda of the state will be fulfilled that no one can hungry. Due to Extended this scheme state government allocate 185 crore rupees under State Food Security Scheme 2023.
