What is MODI Initiative? (Assam Swachh Zila Puraskar Details 2023)
This MODI Scheme has been announced by CM Himanta Biswa Sarma while launching the annual budget of the year 2023. MODI (Most Outstanding District Initiative) Scheme is focused on to boost solid waste management and sanitation among the districts of the Assam. In other words this a drive which will rank the district on the basis of cleanliness ranking. Guidelines of Swachh Zila Puraskar Yojana will be launched future.

Assam MODI Scheme Objective
One of the main objective to Starting Swachh Zila Puraskar (Modi Scheme) is to improve the cleanliness position of the every districts of the Assam state. In other words this initiative will also help to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan which is driven by PM Modi in India. PM Modi initiate Shramdaan for Swachhata Abhiyan for Mahatma Gandhi on 1st October.
MODI Initiative: Reward Details
CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said while announcing MODI Scheme when any district will win the drive of cleanliness than it will be awarded by 100 Crore Rupees. That will be utilised into the development works of the district.
Assam State Govt Starts Amrit Brikha Andolan which is mass movement of tree plantation and those who participate in this Andolan will be awarded with Cash per plant.
Swachh Zila Puraskar 2023: Winner Announcement
Assam CM Sarma said that Result of MODI Initiative will be announced on first week of April, 2024. That’s why every district of the state have time to participate in this cleanliness drive and win the reward of 100 Crores by the state government.
