HSY News Update 2023: OMC Contribute 100 CR for Harishchandra Sahayata

On the 31st March, 2023 OMC (Odisha Mining Corporation) Contribute 100 crore Rupees to the Chief Minister Relief Finds for the supporting initiative like Harishchandra Sahayata Yojana and Mahaprayan Hearse. Prafulla Kumar which is Minister of Steel and Mines department of Odisha delivered cheque to the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the betterment of these HSY and Mahaprayan Hearse.

Financial Assistance has been increased in Harischandra Sahayata Yojana

Friends, we are happy to inform you that on the 13th April, 2023 Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik already increased amount under Harischandra Sahayata Yojana in Odisha. Before that, for the last rites in rural area state govt provide them 2000 INR but now Applicant from rural areas will get 3000 INR. Same way in the urban area, applicant will get 3000 INR but after this update Now Applicant from urban areas will get 4000 INR. it means Increment of 1000 INR will be provided by CM Under Harischandra Sahayata Yojana Odisha.

Objective of Harischandra Sahayata Yojana Odisha

Main objective to start Harischandra Sahayata Yojana was to provide financial help to poor people for the last rite of their relatives. This scheme will be add four moon to poor families fortune. Budget of Harischandra Sahayata Yojana Odisha (hsy Odisha)

CM Naveen Patnaik has been allotted a budget of 14 crores to the scheme from the CM relief fund. Out of total 14 crore fund, 10 crore will be come through direct cm relief fund and rest of 4 crore will be come from collectors. This way a 14 crore Indian rupees used for last rites rituals for the poor people.

Mahaprayan hearse under Harischandra Sahayata Yojana guidelines

Government of Odisha has been also launched Mahaprayan hearse service under the scheme to carry the poor people dead bodies. In this scheme 39 hearse vehicles to 29 districts and 3 hearse vehicles to 6 medical colleges provided by the Odisha government. In total 42 vehicles are used in the Harischandra Sahayata Yojana for Mahaprayan hearse service.
