Tamil Nadu Friends of Library Scheme: Friends for your information, this Friends of Library Scheme TN has been launched by School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi on Thursday at Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu. This same condition happened with Differently Abled Persons, Children, Pregnant women and also senior citizens. So Friends, Tamil Nadu Friends of Library Scheme 2023 only allow those people who are related to this condition described in this section.

How Friends of Library Scheme Works?We explained you who are eligible for this scheme and now you have to know how scheme works so friends in this scheme state government allocates Volunteers to every area of the district. Those volunteers distribute in terms of door to door delivery books for beneficiaries. For books delivery state government allocate 12 thousand 500 volunteers.
Guys, under Tamil Nadu Friends of Library scheme 25 books will be given to “friend of library” for a time period of 360 hours means approximately 15 days. After they have been reading book, they changed books to another 5 members. So this rotation of reading a book will continue at the end of all 25 books as long as everyone is read.

Budget of the SchemeTamil Nadu State Government allocate more than half crore rupees to become successful in this scheme. According to The New Indian Express state government allocate 56.25 lakh rupees to the scheme.
Who can become Volunteers in Friends of libraryGuys, If you want to become volunteers then you have no eligibility criteria which you should follow. but this rules only for Teachers, Youths, School Students and Civil service aspirants. They are allowed to become volunteers. Friends who want to become volunteer, they will get ID and Bag from libraries.

Implementation of the door to door book delivery schemeUnder Friends of Library Scheme, State government is decided to in the first phase of the scheme they launch in 31 districts of the state. Throughout these districts they covers 2500 libraries to deliver a book to the beneficiaries like hospitalised person, pregnant women, children, differently abled persons etc.
