7618 Students in Coimbatore get benefit from Free Breakfast Scheme

We inform you that the highest number of primary school students in the Coimbatore City. it is reported by CCMC (Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation). Those all Students will benefit of Chief Minister Free Breakfast Scheme. According to Sridhar, There are 62 schools in Coimbatore city in which approximately 7618 students are in classes 1 to 5. From 7618 students 1119 students from nine schools in Mettupalayam and 730 students from three schools in Madukkarai municipality are selected in CM Free Breakfast Scheme.

Coimbatore Deputy Commissioner Dr M Sharmila said that we introduce tender inviting to prepare and distribute breakfast under the scheme, and there is a common kitchen placed among 5 Zones in Coimbatore city.

November News Update: Tamilnadu CM Free Breakfast Scheme will cover 2 schools and 4 colleges too

Friends Recently Chief Minister launched Free Breakfast Scheme in another two schools and four colleges which is running by the Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swami Temple in Dindigul district. Schools name is Palaniandavar Matriculation school, Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swami Temple Elementary school and four colleges named Arulmigu Palaniandavar Arts and Culture College, Arulmigu Palaniandavar Polytechnic college, Arulmigu Palaniandavar Arts college for women and last one is Arulmigu Palani Dhandayuthapani Swamy Arts and Science College for women. Through this school and College approximately 4000 students get benefitted by CM Free Breakfast Scheme Tamilnadu.

Which Dishes Serve in CM Free Breakfast Scheme

Under this scheme, the government is going to provide different types of breakfast to the children of primary school. The names of all the dishes are given below.

• Semiya Upma
• Rava Upma with Vegetable Sambhar
• Rava Khichdi
• Semiya Khichdi
• Rava Pongal
• Ravi Kesari (sweet)
• Semiya Kesari (sweet)

All of the above breakfasts will be served on the weekdays. In which sweets like Semiya Kesari will also be given along with breakfast on Friday.

Time Schedule of CM Free Breakfast Scheme

The preparation of this breakfast will be started at 5:30 am. Which will last for about 2 hours. That is, by 7:30am,
it will be ready as breakfast. After that breakfast will be served to the children at 8:00am. Which will run in all the schools for about half an hour. Meaning that by 8:30 am, all the children in all the schools will have breakfast. After that regular school will be started.

• Sweets will also be provided along with breakfast.
