About TN Kalaignarin Kanavu Illam Scheme 2024
The State Government of Tamil Nadu was launched annual budget with slogan “Beyond Barriers….Towards Development” in February. During the budget session, Finance Minister Goldam Thanaras announced Kalaignarin Kanavu Illam Scheme under which their government will provide Pucca House (Concrete House) to 8 lakh families. By the way, state government will provide financial assistance of 3.5 Lakh rupees to the eligible beneficiaries as a construction cost of the house.
Objective of the Artist’s Dream Home Project (கலைஞரின் கனவு இல்லம் ஸ்செமே) is to make Tamil Nadu state free from slums by 2030. To achieve the goal, state government of Tamil Nadu allocate 3500 crore rupees as a budget of the scheme.
Kalaignarin Kanavu Illam Scheme Amount
Every citizens who lived in huts and fall into economical backward class will be able to receive the Kalaignarin Kanavu Illam Amount for the construction of the house. Tamil Nadu state government will provide 3,50,000 rupees to each and every eligible beneficiaries.

- Only those are eligible who are permanent resident of Tamil Nadu.
- Specially those who live in rural areas are eligible.
- Only eligible if you do not have Pucca House it means if you live in Kutcha house or huts then you are eligible to get financial assistance.
