Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced this Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana during cabinet meeting held on 21th July. He informed that now Community Support Staff (CSS) and EC Members of SHGs are able to buy a scooter of their choice from a bank loan. By supporting them Odisha State government Provide Interest free loan for buying a scooter up to Rs. 1 lakh to the beneficiaries of the Scooter Scheme Odisha. Nearly 2 lakh women will become beneficiaries under the scheme.
CM said that this Mission Shakti Scooter Scheme will enhance their capacity of works as well carry out responsibility more effectively. They provide an extraordinary work for livelihood promotion, financial inclusion and market linkage in the society. That’s why government provides Interest Subversion On Scooter Loan Yojana.

As we informed you earlier that CSS and EC Members of Self Help Groups played a crucial role into women empowerment, market linkage and livelihood promotion activities in the state. That’s why Odisha State government want to provide them a better mobility support through Interest Free Scooter Loan under Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana. Under this scheme, 1 lakh and 25 thousands EC Members of SHGs and 75 thousands CSS will be benefited.
