Government of Odisha introduce this Nai Pahal Scheme on 14th August, 2022. Under this scheme government distribute wedding kit to newly wed couples under National Health Mission (NHM) This scheme also called as “Nabadampati Kit” scheme. Odisha becomes first state to introducing this new initiative.

Implementation of distributing Wedding Kit under the scheme
According to reports, this scheme starting in the September of this year. The responsibility of providing wedding (married) kit to the newly wed couples taken by Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs).
