Friends, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee re-start a scholarship for OBC Students on 19th January, 2023. She said that now Central Government doesn’t provide any financial assistance to the backward classes but we are ready to provide them again financial assistance to support them financially. Under this WB Medhashree Scholarship 2023 we provide 800 INR to the meritorious students of Backward Community.

Objective of Medhashree Scholarship WB

One of the main objective to starting Scholarship for OBC Students in West Bengal is to provide financial assistance to the OBC Students to support economically. Under this scholarship Every students from backward classes will be eligible if they are studying in class 5 to 8 and if they got minimum 50% marks in their last examination.

Eligibility Criteria for WB Scholarship for OBC Students (Medhashree Scholarship)

• Applicant Must be a Permanent Resident of West Bengal State.
• Applicant are come from OBC Community.
• Applicant must be studying in educational institutions of West Bengal.
• Applicant must obtain atleast 50% of marks in their last examination.
• Applicant’s family income must be less than 2 lakh rupees per annum.

Note: Students who are basically from Wes Bengal but currently they studies outside the state are no eligible to apply for Medhashree Scholarship West Bengal.

How to Apply Online for West Bengal Medhashree Scholarship (Scholarship for OBC Students Application Process)

Step 1: First of all you have to visit Official Website. (http://www.wbmdfcscholarship.gov.in/)

Step 2: On the Home you have to click on “New Registration”

Step 3: Now a new page appear on your screen where you have to enter your details and click to “Proceed” button.

Step 4: After that you will receive user I’d and Password on your mailing address.

Step 5: Now you have to Login at “students Login”.

Step 6: After Login you have to change your password and fill basic information.

Step 7: Now on the next step you have to fill Academic Information and Bank Account Details.

Step 8: At the end you have to click on Preview button and Submit your Application.

• After submitting application your application verify by your school or institution.

• Where District Officer verify your information.
