Chief Minister’s College Students Rehabilitation Scheme Manipur Details 2023 (CMCSRS)

This CMCSRS Scheme is launched by State education minister Shri Basantakumar Singh on 7th July. Under this scheme, those students who are studying in Government or Government Aided Colleges will be benefited by Rehabilitation or waiver on education fees and admission in other colleges. Every eligible students will be provided education facilities. Those students who are displaced and affected their undergraduate courses will get benefits under Chief Minister’s College Students Rehabilitation Scheme of Manipur. This scheme has two categories will be explained below.

CM’s Students Rehab Scheme Categories

If you are studying in Government or Government Aided Colleges than you will be categorised in 2 parts as described below.

• Category 1: Directly Affected Students
• Category 2: Inter College Transfer Facilities

CMCSRS Directly Affected Students

Those students who are under Directly Affected Students category will be able to transfer their college as per their request. Also they will get free admission for the year 2023-24 with admission amount from Rs. 5000 to Rs. 9000 depends on their education streams. State government also provide them 10,000 INR as a Rehabilitation Grant for one time. Along with that all stationary items, Free Smartphone, Uniform, sports equipment and sanitary napkins specially to girl students.

CMCSRS Inter College Transfer Facilities

Those students who are under this category will also get free admission for the year 2023-24 with admission amount ranging from Rs. 5000-9000. Along with that they are able to transfer to a new college as per their request.

• Transfer Facilities:- This CMCSRS Scheme will provide inter college transfer Facilities to the college students.
• Free Admission Facility:- Under this CM College Students Rehab Scheme, State government allows for free/waiver admission to the students.
• Other Benefits:- Along with Free admission state government also provide Uniform, Stationary items and other educational materials.
• Special Benefits to Girls:- State government provide Sanitary Pads and Sports equipment to the girl students.
• Application Method:- Manipur Students Rehabilitation Scheme will be provided with both methods like online and offline to apply under the scheme.

Manipur CMCSRS Scheme Implementation

Education Minister said on the launching event that a committee will be formed for the screening of the applications under Chief Minister’s College Students Rehabilitation Scheme. Committee will check all the applications and documents submitted with the application. Committee also verify students application with their college. After screening all the applications benefits will be given to the eligible students.

Offline Application Process

Friends, Officials said that on the time of Online Application if internet connectivity issues appeared than you can apply offline under CMCSRS Scheme of Manipur. For offline application you have to submit your CMCSRS Application Form to the Deputy Commissioner Office at your District. Again Application Form will be published nearly on 3rd week of July.
