TSRTC Free Bus for women in Telangana 2023-24: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy launched this scheme as per their guarantees to the citizens of the Telangana. Now every women who are permanent resident of the state are eligible to avail free bus benefits in the state. But for successful implementation of the scheme state government made some rules which you can follow while taking the Free Bus Service in Telangana.

Mahalakshmi Free Bus Scheme Telangana 2023-24

CM Reddy has been launched Free Bus Service under Maha Lakshmi Scheme Telangana on 9th December, 2023 at 1:30 PM for women of the state. State Government decided that some of the buses under TSRTC will cover under the scheme for example, City Buses, Express buses etc.

All school and college girls also free to use these buses for traveling within the state boundary. But keep in mind that if your origin is in Telangana and destination is outside the state then you can’t take the advantage of TSRTC Free Bus for women in Telangana.

Who are eligible for TSRTC Free Bus for Ladies in Telangana

Every women in Telangana are eligible for this scheme. Still we provide you the details of beneficiaries under the free bus yojana.

• Those who are permanent resident of Telangana are eligible.

It means they don’t have to pay any money for transportation.

Free Bus for Women in Telangana Rules

• 24*7 All Day:- Some of the women think about that can we travel on Sunday on these buses or not? Then they don’t tens about that because you are free to travel 24*7 all day.
• Traveling Area:- All women are eligible to travel in the state anywhere but they don’t allow to travel outside places of the state under Free Bus Travel Scheme.
• Traveling Distance:- There are no matter how much distance travelled by you in a day or a month. Totally free for every women.
• ID Proof Required:- If you travel under free bus scheme in Telangana then you should carry any photo I’d proof like Aadhaar Card, Voter I’d, driving license etc.
• Age Limit:- No matter what is the age group of the women or girls or Transgenders. All age group women are eligible.

Documents Required

For now you have to carry any photo I’d proof while traveling under TSRTC buses which are allowed under Free Bus for Ladies. But state government announced that they will provide Free Bus Smart Card under Mahalakshmi Free Bus Travel Scheme within 100 Days. Then after you have to carry Mahalaxmi Free Bus Smart Card.

• CM Revanth Reddy declared that they will provide Free bus travel smart card very soon to the beneficiaries.
• Still they didn’t published any guidelines on how beneficiaries can issue smart card from the government or through Official Website.
