This Thiranari Thervu Thittam is an initiative launched by TN CM MK Stalin on Wednesday to provide detailed information about semiconductor technologies as well as electronics engineering to the Government school students of rural areas. This scheme launched at the event organized at IIT- Madras. Thiranari Thervu Thittam Scheme has aim to provide knowledge to 1 lakh students every year to the IIT-Madras who are really interested in electronics field and want to further studies in this field.
Under Thiranari Thervu Thittam initiative Students of rural government schools would be providing a lectures and hands-on-experience by IIT-MADRAS to the students of Classes 9th to 12th. On the launching event CM MK Stalin said that 1000 Govt School Students of Class 10th already chosen in which 500 boys and 500 girls. Chief Minister Stalin also distributed electronic kits to the students at the launching event of Thiranari Thervu Thittam Programme which is developed by IIT-MADRAS.
