Gig Workers Accidental Insurance Policy in Telangana 2024: Recently Revanth Reddy took oath as a Chief Minister of Telangana. Within a month they announced Rs 5 lakh accidental insurance scheme for gig workers like Cab Drivers, Auto Rickshaw Drivers and Food Delivery Boys in the State on 23rd December. About Telangana Gig Workers Insurance Scheme 2024
CM Reddy announced this scheme for gig workers during their program in Hyderabad. He promised to the workers that our government will working on Rajasthan Workers Policy and will formed a new rule in the next Vidhansabha meeting. They said that under Telangana Gig Workers Insurance Scheme, all gig workers like who run Cabs, who runs their own auto rickshaw and who are employees of online food delivery companies like Swiggy and Zomato will be covered under Rs 5 Lakh Accidental Insurance Policy soon.
Not only but all the beneficiaries of this Gig Workers Accidental Insurance Policy will be able to register under Aarogyasri Telangana for medical care up to Rs 10 Lakh per year. Also he said that we will develop a mobile app for the scheme which is being developed by T-Hub.

How to Apply Online for Telangana Gig Workers Insurance Scheme?
State Government noted that if you are fall into the beneficiaries list of the scheme then you have to submit your application through online or offline. But state government doesn’t launch any official portal or mobile app for the online application till now. But very soon they will launch official website then we provide you the steps to apply online under the scheme.
For Offline Application Form
State government suggested that from the 28th December you can contact the Grama Sabhas with manual format of the application and submit your application to the head of the Grama Sabhas. By following this procedure you can able to apply offline under scheme.
