Friends, Chief Minister KCR Announced this Chenetha Maggam Programme on 7th August on National Handloom Day. He said that on this event that now it’s urgent requirement to change the traditional handloom machine to the new one. Due to that Production and Quality both will be improved. Along with that indentity card will be given to the handloom weavers in which ex gratia for weaver members will be increased Rs. 25,000 from Rs. 12,500.

Chenetha Maggam Scheme Objective
One of the main objective to launching Chenetha Maggam Scheme is to all pit looms will be replaced with Frame Looms. Through this change Every eligible Handloom Weavers can change their production rate as well as improvement in their quality of the products.
Chenetha Maggam Scheme Budget 2023
Telangana State Government will be replaced all pit looms with Frame Looms in the scheme. For the successful implementation of this programme they announced that we ensure the annual budget for the scheme is Rs. 40 Crore Rupees. Through utilising this amount we will change all the old looms machines in the state.
