Friends here we inform you that when this scheme was started (2nd October 2020) State government of Assam provide each beneficiary financial support nearly ₹830 in which they considered 400 rupees for medicine, 200 rupees for pulses of 4 kg on 50% subsidy, 80 rupees for sugar of 4 kg on 50% subsidy and 150 rupees for vegetables and fruits. But after that state government provide ₹1000 to each beneficiary additional 170 rupees for extra expenses.

But Now Assam State Government under Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme they provide ₹1250 to each beneficiary where in 250 rupees for electricity bill for the household. And in this Orunodoi 2.0 no. of Beneficiary also increased from 17 lakh to more than 27 lakhs. It means they provide financial assistance more than 10 lakh beneficiaries from April 2023. In this scheme they give priority to Transgenders and Differently Abled Persons called “Divyang”. CM Sarma said that we are planning to cover half population under the scheme in the upcoming days while they opening new BJP Office in BTR on 11th October.
